Brush Wellman Electrofusion Products has selected AmberDove Solutions, Inc. to provide its shop-floor execution system.

Brush Wellman Electrofusion Products has partnered with AmberDove Solutions to deploy NxMES in order to gain visibility and control over their shop floor. The AmberDove solution will enable Electrofusion Products to have the logistics and execution capabilities required to keep pace with its brisk growth.

NxMES features AmberDove’s core, patent-pending technology which eliminates complicated RFID and barcode integration projects in favor of a drop-in product. “Set up is as easy as plugging in the box, putting out the RFID readers, and uploading a map of the shop floor,” said Edward Hefter, director of Electrofusion Products. “Training [for supervisors]...takes 5 minutes...it is much easier and faster to set up and use than systems designed to do everything."
NxMES requires no software to install and has modern, intuitive Web 2.0 style interfaces which reduce training time and increases productivity. “[Machinists] are asking to use the system...[NxMES] is creating a dialogue that was not there before to make sure jobs are on track," says Greg Higgins.
NxMES product features were developed in consultation with Electrofusion Products and other industry experts. As part of the partnership, Brush Wellman, will join AmberDove’s customer council to provide input on future product development.
